Planeza ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal finance tool that provides free mortgage and home buying calculators. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit planeza.com.

Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how visitors use our site, including pages visited, time spent, and general geographic location (country and state level). This data does not identify you personally.

Session recordings: We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session data including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior. Input fields are masked by default and no personal financial information is captured in recordings.

Email addresses: If you choose to save a calculation plan, we collect your email address solely to send you a link to your saved plan. We do not use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.

Calculator inputs: Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save your plan.

Location data: We use your browser language setting and approximate location via IP address to pre-fill state-specific estimates such as property tax and home insurance rates. Your IP address is not stored by Planeza.

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our calculator tools, understand how visitors use the site, pre-fill state-specific estimates to improve accuracy, send saved plan links when requested, and monitor site performance and fix issues.

We use cookies through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand site usage. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, which may affect some site functionality.

We use the following third-party services: Google Analytics for anonymous usage tracking. Microsoft Clarity for anonymized session recording. ipapi.co for IP-based location detection for state estimates. Planeza does not store any location data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share anonymous, aggregated data for analytics purposes only.

Email addresses collected for saved plans are retained for 12 months or until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained per the default policies of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

You may request deletion of your email address or any data associated with your saved plan by contacting us at info@planeza.com. We will respond within 5 business days.

Planeza is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
